The optional Image Processing Unit improves image quality even more with time-saving automatic photo/letter discrimination and dynamic thresholding. The FB Series scanners integrate easily into any imaging system, thanks to compatibility with most popular interface boards and application software support. A SCSI interface comes standard with each unit. The 2000S/D FB is the first A3 scanner to meet stringent specifications of the EPA's Energy Star Program and Low Noise Rating.
